“God led me to you.”

Can social media be used to spread God’s Word? J*, a young leader from Greater South Asia, knows it can!

Under the warm glow of an Asian city’s lights, she met with ASM’s Bible Engagement Director, Tara Rye. J* had contacted Tara, because through a dream she sensed God was leading her to reach out to Tara. In another dream a week later, J* had a conversation with Tara and her husband Greg asking, “how can I reach my nation?

When J* finally met with Tara, she knew Tara’s Bible storytelling training would be a powerful tool to better serve the least-reached in Greater South Asia. J* was equipped thanks to your support!

As a social media influencer, J* is excited to connect Bible story-centric discipleship with communication tools like social media to bring the Gospel to oral and least-reached people groups in Greater South Asia.

Using tools like Tara’s 6 Acts of the Bible, J* is now exploring ways to create culturally-relevant video content in her language so that online viewers can experience and understand Bible stories in their context. Tara also introduced her to resources like audio Bibles and ScriptureEarth.org, opening new opportunities to share God’s Word

Because J* already has a strong online presence and works with a respected organization to share the Gospel, these tools will further build momentum in what God is already doing through her ministry. To date, the team that J* works with has already reported over 45,000 conversations about Jesus, resulting in more than 10,000 who say they will now follow Christ. Would you pray with us, that each of these new disciples will grow in their faith, and make other disciples? Your prayer, generosity, and partnership are helping share God’s Word—in a way that can multiply and reach many more people!

God is opening new doors in Greater South Asia. Pray for J* and her team as they seek His wisdom for the best efforts and strategies in 2025, to continue to reach people by combining Bible storytelling and technology.
