“Are we there yet?” is often heard on family road trips. Growing up, I’m sure I asked my parents this question frequently (!) when traveling. The phrase can reflect the boredom or impatience of waiting—but it can also express excited anticipation.
The last mile of a trip can bring bouncing-on-the-seat enthusiasm because what’s at the end of the road is so exciting that we can’t wait to get there … Grandpa and Grandma’s house, camping at the river, or one of America’s National Parks!
You are helping God’s Word go The Last Mile—
into the hearts and hands of those who eagerly need it!
God is using your prayers and financial support of ASM to send His Word. You are part of the joyful, excited anticipation of those receiving and sharing God’s Word.
ASM and our Partners are delivering God’s Word to displaced people in South Sudan who don’t know Jesus, to incarcerated men and women in Kenya, to those hungry to hear God’s truth in Greater South Asia, to pastors who can’t read in Uganda, to persecuted Christians suffering under crushing oppression in many places, and more.
Each person is receiving God’s Word in audio in a language they speak and understand.

God’s Word is precious and God’s promises are true—that His Word will “not return void” (Isaiah 55:11).
Thank you for your commitment to sharing the Good News of Jesus! Confessions of faith in Jesus, baptisms, discipleship, and new churches are being planted in each region because God’s Word is being shared generously.

It’s almost summer and many people will be taking road trips for vacation or to see family. As you do so, and hear the inevitable, “are we there yet,” would you please be praying for ASM and our Partners who are also on the road sharing God’s Word? Pray for protection, and as one Partner in East Africa wrote, “[Pray that] the God we serve will bring more hope and love to the regions we serve.”
Together let’s go the Last Mile, so the Name of Jesus will be lifted up among people who have never heard His Name. May they find rescue, healing, and lasting transformation in Him.
