ASM partners in Kenya just shared this exciting story …
A woman was listening to her audio Bible in a local language, doing so faithfully as often as she could. Her son (not pictured), a warrior, struggled with alcoholism. One day he came home and found his mother listening to God’s Word. Because it was in his language, it captured his attention and he sat down to listen. When it was time for him to go, he asked his mother to allow him to take the audio Bible with him. She did so, praying that God would speak to his heart.
The next time he came back home, he had given his life to Christ. Today, he’s pastoring a church!
God’s Word is powerful! Praise the Lord that this man’s life has been changed for eternity, and that a mother’s constant witness and prayers were answered. Not only has this man been redeemed, but the Good News is so good that now he’s telling others!
Thank you for praying and giving so that this man, his mother, and their community are hearing about God who loves them, Jesus who redeems them, and the Holy Spirit who guides them.
