Update From Naomi — November 2024

“We have a God who delights in impossibilities”
Andrew Murray, South African Missionary

God has used the prayers and gifts of hundreds of people this year, to bring His life-giving Word in audio to an estimated 200,000 people in their own heart language.  We praise God for each of the 200,000 men, women, and children (so far!) who have heard the Good News of salvation, often in places hostile to the Gospel of Jesus Christ and in places where persecution of Christians is on the rise.

We could not do it without the prayers and support of God’s people.  He is using these efforts to help connect many more people than we could have imagined to His Word in their own heart language.  Ministry we thought not possible, has been made possible through serving the God of the impossible—as lives, families, and entire villages are transformed by His truth!

People like Mary, in Ethiopia, (first photo) who now listens to her solar audio Bible and shares God’s Word daily as she walks around her village.

Or, Khaan* (name changed for security, not pictured), in South Asia, who says, “For a long time, I followed ancestral traditions, worshiping various deities and offering sacrifices to them.  But since I’ve been hearing stories from the Bible about Jesus, I’ve realized we are meant to worship the one and true living God.  From now on, I will only trust in God and follow Jesus.”

Praise the Lord!

In Andrew Murray’s book, “The Key to the Missionary Problem,” he emphasizes that missions begins with prayer.  Would you please pray for Mary and Khaan*—and thousands of others—who have heard God’s Truth on an audio Bible and are now following Him?

And, please join us to pray for the millions who still need to hear the Hope of the Gospel.  How might God be calling you to help, today?

“Every time I think of you I thank God for you.  I have joy in my heart every time I ask God to help you.  I thank God for the joy we share in telling the good news from the very first day until now,” (Philippians 1:3-5, WE)

May God bless you and your family in this season of Thanksgiving!
