Update from Naomi — April 2025

Prison Chaplain M*  (pictured, left) was excited to show inmates how to use the audio Bible.  Under a tented roof, in a hot and dusty prison yard, Pastor M* shared the importance of listening to God’s Word with the prisoners.

Each prisoner eagerly, and reverently, received an audio Bible, and the sound of the Bible in the Samburu and Swahili languages could be heard throughout the prison.  Praise the Lord for Pastor M*, and his commitment to sharing God’s Word with those who need to hear it in prisons!

Thank you for your prayers and support of Audio Scripture Ministries (ASM) which helped make this possible.

Would you please pray for these inmates who are now listening to the Bible in their own heart language?   Pray for open ears, open understanding, and hearts of obedience to God’s Word.

Use Psalm 119:33-34 as a prayer prompt:

“Teach me Your decrees, O Lord; I will keep them to the end.
Give me understanding
and I will obey Your instructions;I will put them into practice with all my heart.”

Pray also for Chaplain M*, and other prison chaplains like him, who encounter many difficult, heartbreaking  situations in prison. They know Eternal Hope only comes through Jesus Christ.   We may never learn the names of each prisoner, but God knows them—and He loves them! Because of your fervent prayers and generous gifts, these men and women in northern Kenya are learning that God knows their names, and that He hasn’t forgotten them.  Thank you!

Would you please consider being a part of reaching even more prisoners with God’s Word in audio?  An additional gift today to ASM — Audio Bibles Where Most Needed will help deliver more audio Bibles for chaplains to give to those waiting to hear.

May God bless you as you listen to, understand, and obey His Word!
