Rebecca, a woman from the Nuer people of South Sudan, had no hope. Tragically, she was planning to end her life. Then a church in her area received audio Bibles, and they made sure she received one.
With a small device bringing Scripture in her own language, something in Rebecca’s heart began to change. In a place marked by violence and despair, where God can often feel distant, she began to feel God draw near, speaking hope into the darkness.

At a recent church service, Rebecca stood up and told her story. She wanted people to hear the reason for her hope.
By God’s grace, she is alive.
