Rebecca, a woman from the Nuer people of South Sudan, had no hope. Tragically, she was planning to end her life. Then her church received audio Bibles, and they made sure she received one.
With a small device bringing Scripture in her own language, something in Rebecca’s heart began to change. In a place marked by violence and despair, where God can often feel distant, she began to feel God draw near, speaking hope into the darkness.

At a recent church service, Rebecca stood up and told her story. She wanted people to hear the reason for her hope.
By God’s grace, she is alive.
