Update from Naomi—July 2024

God’s Word never returns void (Isaiah 55:11)!

I was reminded of that promise recently when Dara Vanden Bosch, Audio Scripture Ministries (ASM) Compassionate Care Coordinator, shared this story:

“Many years ago the Compassionate Care Team helped this little one (photo, left) and her family get the urgent care she needed to survive.  Shortly after, we were able to discharge her because her family was caring for her beautifully.

Most Thursdays since this day years ago, this little one runs to the road to wave at us on our drive home from caring for current patients.  Today she came to wave carrying her audio Bible and Wildlife Storyteller.

All these years later she has guarded her audio Bible and is still soaking in God’s Word.  Indeed God’s Word continues to reach long after we’ve done our part.”

Thank you for being a part of this legacy of sharing God’s Word through ASM!  Would you please lift this little girl and her family, and people just like them, who today are listening to God’s Word because you prayed and gave?  Pray that they would:

  • Thirst for God (Isaiah 55:1)
  • Seek the Lord and call on Him (Isaiah 55:6)
  • That God’s Word would “… achieve the purpose for which [God] sent it” (Isaiah 55:11)

Thank you for your generosity in sharing God’s Word.  May God bless you because of the Gospel hope and joy you’re sharing in His Name!

Thanking God for you,
