If I was given the opportunity to obtain a “superpower” (as defined by science fiction!) it would be a master command of languages. No “leaping tall buildings in a single bound” for me. I’d rather have the ability to communicate with anyone instantly in their language.
Sharing about Our Great God (ታላቁ አምላካችን, Gran Bondye nou an, Mungu wetu mkuu, ئۇلۇغ خۇدايىمىز) would flow off my tongue in Amharic, Haitian Creole, Swahili, Uyghur, and other languages. Can you imagine?

No longer did he have to struggle to understand the Bible, now he could listen with his heart.

Understanding of God’s Word soars, as familiar words reveal Scriptural truths that had remained “hidden” to them when listening in another language. Sharing the Bible in heart languages reveals that God loves all people and all languages, and helps move people from just listening to knowing and obeying. I will never have the superpower to speak all languages (but I’m learning some!).
