Praise the Lord for the life of William Wilberforce, whose faith in Jesus motivated his fight to abolish slavery in Great Britain. Pray for the 50 million people who are still living today in “modern” slavery in countries like India, China, Pakistan, and North Korea, and for the billions more people who live in spiritual slavery around the globe. Pray that they will soon hear of the hope and freedom through Jesus Christ (Romans 8).
