On the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church, pray Psalm 10:12, 17-18 for God’s intervention for our Christian brothers and sisters being persecuted for their faith in Jesus: “Arise, O Lord! Punish the wicked, O God! Do not ignore the helpless … Lord, you know the hopes of the helpless. Surely You will hear their cries and comfort them. You will bring justice … so mere people can no longer terrify them” (NLT). Globally, 365 million Christians are subjected to high levels of persecution and discrimination.
