Today the U.S. observes a National Day of Prayer. This year’s theme is from James 5:16b: “The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.” Pray that across America, Christians will earnestly lift up churches, communities, governments, schools, and families in prayer—that more would follow and obey Jesus.
