Celebrating God’s Faithfulness

Audio Scripture Ministries celebrates its 50th Anniversary this year, and this significant milestone offers a unique opportunity for both celebration and prayerful reflection.

Celebration
First and foremost, we give praise and glory to God the Father, our Savior Jesus Christ and our Guide the Holy Spirit. Our theme verse for the 50th Anniversary reflects our thankfulness:

“Many, Lord my God,
are the wonders You have done,
the things You planned for us.
None can compare with You;
were I to speak and tell of Your deeds,
they would be too many to declare.”
Psalm 40:5

Today we also celebrate thousands of lives changed for all eternity as they’ve heard the truth of the Gospel in their own heart language by listening to an audio Bible. We celebrate the work of our Mozambique Compassionate Care Team on the front lines offering hope in Christ and serving people at the most vulnerable time of their lives. We celebrate the churches and ministry partners who have distributed audio Bibles through their missionaries and on short term mission trips. We celebrate our faithful prayer partners and donors who consistently provide the prayer support and financial support needed to advance God’s Word.

Additionally, we celebrate our wonderful board and staff, and team members who provide servant leadership to this ministry.

Thank you for what you have done, and are doing, so that many more people will have the opportunity to hear God’s Word and come to faith in Jesus Christ.

Reflection
As with any milestone, we also pause and reflect on where God is now leading us. ASM is God’s ministry, and under His Leadership and Lordship we are moving prayerfully, confidently and expectantly into the “next” 50 years.

As we pray and plan together we are:

-Exploring new regions, resources and partnerships by asking the question, “what can we do better together than we can do separately?” (John 17:21)
-Considering new technology to provide access to Scripture in other formats that could open doors for ministry in previously inaccessible locations.
-Working on infrastructure to make us even more effective.
-Seeking new funding sources to increase recordings and distribution of Scripture and biblical resources, and to establish and equip more national leaders.

Most of all, we’re praying. Would you please join us in prayer for wisdom, discernment and courage?

ASM has a wonderful legacy and a proven track record of serving the global church by providing quality recordings of Scripture and by distributing Scriptures and biblical resources through every available means. God has given all of us the privilege of being “next in line” to care for that legacy and also to nurture and grow ASM, to His honor and glory and the advancement of His Church.

I invite you to become even further involved in ASM. Would you please be praying for ASM and seeking the Lord for how He would have you be involved? Would you also consider introducing the ministry to others in your family, at your church or your place of work? Praying, serving as a volunteer and providing financial support is needed now more than ever.

God has significantly blessed ASM in the past 50 years. Thank you for being one of the blessings we celebrate in this 50th Anniversary year!
