Partnership and Growth in India and Nepal

When I took over as India-Asia Director for ASM nearly twelve years ago, I never dreamed of a day when the ministry in India would grow to the heights to which it has grown today. I may have been a man of faith, but my faith was minuscule compared to what God had in store. Over the past decade, WCOI has grown steadily in its scope and mission. Today it stands as a fully self-sustaining national partner, distributing over 4,000 audio Bibles last year and inching toward having the Bible recorded in a hundred languages. It has even launched its own ministry in Nepal! This is exciting, yet I wonder if I still remain minuscule in my faith. What might God have in store for the next decade?

We recently completed recordings of the Nepali and Maithili New Testaments. This is epic because these are the two major languages spoken in Nepal, and within two years of opening a small office in Kathmandu, WCOI/ASM embarked on and finished recordings that will impact millions in the years to come. Praise God!

We now hope to send around six hundred audio Bibles into Kathmandu. Pray for the resources needed to make this happen. We are experiencing a huge demand for audio Bibles and are convinced this is merely a drop in the bucket. However, we worship a God who fed a multitude with a few loaves and fish, and we lean into the hope found in that miracle! Pray also for Hari, our National Director in Nepal, as he remains faithful to his calling in a very thirsty land.

Thank you for walking with us on this beautiful journey!
